Montana Decoy has more decoys to complete your flock. More than one style of decoy will make your flock look more realistic. Use these to bring the weary birds in close.

As with elk, McPherson likes to use the "run and gun" method when looking for turkeys. He'll cruise a lot of terrain until he hears gobbling.

"Then I'll set up and use hen calls to bring them in," he said. "The more hen decoys you can get set up, the better.

"The best-case scenario is to get ahead of the decoys so the turkeys walk past you," McPherson said. But shotgun hunters can set up anywhere within range, since they don't have to worry as much about movement when they go to shoot.

One word of advice for using McPherson's decoys, because they look so realistic it is dangerous to set up directly behind them. The hunter is then a possible target for other hunters and aggressive game animals.

The Turkey Decoys are constructed of a durable polyester fabric, with a spring steel band inside the body to hold the body erect. To support the Decoy, fiberglass poles with step stakes are used. The decoy body has a high quality picture printed on both sides, giving the 2D decoy that 3D look.
